We treat and reuse the plant’s liquid effluents to irrigate our fields with a pivot system. This practice maximizes the use of natural resources, improves soil quality, and allows for better animal feed.

We rigorously treat all productive waste to avoid negative impacts on the environment, such as soil and water contamination and the emission of greenhouse gases.
We use organic matter to produce compost, which becomes a high-quality fertilizer used by local small-scale farmers. This promotes sustainable agriculture and supports the local farming community.

THE LIVESTOCK IS RAISED IN SPACIOUS GREEN AREAS WITH NATURAL PASTURES, FREE FROM HORMONES AND GROWTH PROMOTERS, WHICH ARE PROHIBITED IN URUGUAY. ADDITIONALLY, THE USE OF ANTIBIOTICS IS STRICTLY CONTROLLED AND LIMITED, ENSURING THAT OUR PRODUCT IS NOT COMPROMISED BY THE PRESENCE OF CHEMICAL RESIDUES.
